before I'm 30 I will: a review and a catch-up

This photo officially documents my achievement of goal number 42: Get a bikini.  I am now a convert! Plus having this goal has been a great incentive to eat more sensibly, lose weight (3 and a half stone) and get in better shape.

It’s now just over a year since I first posted my list of things to accomplish.  It started off as a series of things that I’d quite like to do.  I picked the deadline of my 30th birthday to encourage me to make progress, while at the same time allowing a few years to accomplish bigger goals.  Some things can be done on a rainy afternoon when I’m at a loose end, such as building a den.  Some of the ideas on the list will require planning months in advance, not to mention saving up the pennies.  This is particularly true for some of my travel dreams!

Since my first post, I have added new challenges as more new ideas have occurred to me.  My list has grown significantly since the original 60! I have also got rid a couple of ideas that just don’t inspire me any more.  Anyway, I thought it was probably time to have a quick review to see where I stand.  With a couple of years still to go, I've accomplished 25 and have 65 left to work on.

Of these, 7 are planned/booked/underway, but whether ‘ll ever be finished doesn't really bother me as long as I keep finding brilliant things to do :D

To finish off this post then, here’s the current list. I've linked to blog posts about the challenges where I can.

P.S. Winter is definitely a good time to make a den. And fill it with delicious goodies and mulled wine and fairy lights and blankets...

P.P.S. Who's with me?!
